Glorious Atomic Bazaar! Glorious weekend!

I had an art show in Sarasota this weekend called Atomic Bazaar. I got the privilege to stay with my friend Chip and bring my friend Lindsey to help me. I express HOW imperative it was to have a weekend away from Orlando. It was good for my soul, my heart, and my business.

I have the best friends ever. I really really appreciate the two of you so much. I appreciate all the amazing people i met at the show. [[I'll post another post about all of them!!]]

Let's just say i was really blessed. I had amazing encouragement, more sales then i realized, and lots of love from friends and strangers.
I hope you all get the chance MANY MANY TIMES to feel the love i have felt. I really do.

Blessings to all of you.

Hello Rollin's College....

I just participated in a small art show at a local college called Rollins College.

It was about 15 or so vendors in the "quad" of the campus. The turn out was actually much better then i expected, there were so many really nice artists/vendors there, and i sold much more then i anticipated i would.

I can't wait to participate in another one! :D

This is Olen. He has a company called "It's Apples". He makes home made apples dipped in an array of collaborations. My FAVORITE is the Apple Pie apple; which is incased in cinnamon, sugar, carmel, and some other goodies.

Amy makes some of the cutest clay pendants and pieces! I wish i had a better close up of her work. She has a collaborative Etsy shop with her friends called "The Pottery Syndicate".

I did NOT want to share this Reeces cupcake! :D

Terry makes some of the most scrumptious cupcakes i've ever eaten! YUM! I wish she had a shop online so i could send you her way. Her business is called "Serendipity Sweets", and she has a large assortment of moist, lovely little cupcakes.

Donna from Chateau Confections had so many types of rich dark chocolate bark. I tried the Peppermint one [i approve!], but i wish she had samples of the "Cherry Bombshell"! Maraschino cherries and bourbon encased in dark creamy chocolate. It sounds heavenly!

She had am amazing spirit and smile to boot. This lovely women is going to far! :D

Michelle was the best booth neighbor. She was friendly, and up beat, and had lots of things on her table that Camilo would like. :D She sells mostly at comic book conventions, but had some fun rings, and hand made [ducks] too.

All in all, it was a pretty rad show. Thanks for inviting me Brendan! I am looking forward to the next one. :)

Happy Sunday Ya'll!

Smiles and Blessings,

A little colorful inspiration. AND A SALE!

I love these colors together!! I've started a jewelry collection based upon this swatch, but the sun hasn't been cooperating lately for me to photograph the new jewels. :(

I promise you though, these are pieces you are going to adore. :)

Shrink And Dink

Pre-cooked artwork!

My friend Alex came over this past Monday to collaborate our mad skillz and make some fun charms. Alex is a stellar drawer and created these lovelies in such a short span of time, twas awesome!

When Alex first told me he wanted to draw a black line around the cupcake, i thought he was nuts, but it looks stellar!!

Just Let Go

Growing Jar

Broken Hearted...

I am still amazed by this shrink plastic, it's so neat! And spending time with Alex creating is so fun! I've been yearning for friends to do art with my whole life, and i finally met them. It's just a matter of making plans to do the art, so this was such a blessing!

Alex & the mini's

I hope we get to craft again REALLY SOON! ::wink wink::

Talented Artists + Baked Goods = Fun Art Market!

Jess from Son of a Gun had a really fun little market today called Colonial Market. I met some amazing, talented girls, had a fun time with my friend Stephanie and introduced Cherry Runway to some lovely folks. :)

Setting up my table is becoming more fun which is a lovely thing indeed! Alas, my table needs a total refresher course, if you have any ideas please let me know! :)

Foot Twins

Christina and I were foot twins..only her injury made mine look like a silly accident. Goodness..i hope you heal soon Christina!

Sara and Stephanie

Sara from Lily Flys Garden makes really fun jewelry for such affordable prices. I bought a sweet little headband from her too!

Stephanie from Polka Dots and Daisies Bakery

Teresa makes really sweet greeting cards, mustache pops, and jewelry!

Miranda had pretty jewelry, paintings and yummy sweets!

Pineapple Cupcake

Mmm...Miranda made this delicious pineapple cupcake, with a real pineapple slice and strudel on top. :)

Christina from Feather Head makes really cute barrettes with her friend Aaryn!

Alyson from Design du Jour

Alyson from Design du Jour makes adorable purses and flower hair clips.

Stephanie is super awesome, and woke up SUPER early to come to my house at 6am to get to the show.

I had a really great afternoon, and hope I get the privilege to see all these amazing ladies again. I am SO game for a craft day! Let me know when you're interested in having one! :)

Bloggin' at the Airport!

How super awesome is that? I have INTERNET CONNECTION at the AIRPORT! Smiles all around.

So right now, i am waiting my flight for California for five days of fun, friends, and RENEGADE! I am more then stoked for all of it. I have been prepping jewelry like a fiend, and it was really scary overnighting everything off to LA a few days ago. It's so strange to send off your whole business in two very large boxes. It's like mailing away a part of you.

Here are some of the new goodies i've been whipping up!!

The only good part of that is that i am what some would call "a work-a-holic" so not having my tools and such put me in a place where i wasn't able to make jewelry and chill out a tad for a few days.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend! Do something exciting! Inspire others! Inspire yourself! :)

11 days!!!!

Eee!! It's almost time!!

I am SOOO excited!!!! This is the BIGGEST show i've ever been a part of. :)

I fly out to LA in 10 days and am MORE then excited! For the show! To see one of my best friend's Brian! To meet booth partner in crime, Andrea! To just GET AWAY! Yay! I'm excited for it all!

Come visit if your attending!!

Panera Endevors.. :)

Saturday Morning

Saturday Morning

I don't know about you, but i love Saturday mornings...mostly because i LOVE the Farmers Market!

Look around you, there are dozens of fresh fruit and veggie booths here, their colorful allure so striking! But look! back in that corner is ....a pizza vendor?? Although you are generally a fruit and veggie gal, (or try to be) don't get bummed out.Calories don't count on a Saturday morning slice of pizza.

Delilah is your inner diva. She's your classy Manhattan sweet heart. She loves a French Roast expresso, indulges in only the best strawberries, and wear high heels, the higher the better. [Preferably Manolo]

While not all of us could embrace her life style, your alter ego "Delilah" is here to help. These earrings will keep you grounded while dreaming of your life in another world.

I really like these earring sets and I hope you do too!! :)

Let me know what you think!

Fair's of World Trades. Days.

I've been a horrid little blogger, but this was MORE then worthy of blogging about.

I was a part of the "World Fair Trade" day last month. There are dozens of yummy vegan food vendors, artsits, and musicians. Customers on the other hand, were quite few and far between, but a bunch of my favorite people came to visit me. AND all of the sales i had were to people who either already knew of my work, or already had some of my pieces. IT. WAS. AWESOME. !

This was the first show that i not only did the whole display BUT did it confidently and had fun while creating it! Yay!

This lady has done just about EVERY single show with me since i started doing them three years ago, she also just moved away. The next show, without her, will be a very sad day. :(

After the art show, my friend Camilo and I went to the House of Blues to see Saves the Day. They were stellar!

Did i say jewelry..i mean NECKLACE!!

I, Jenipher Lyn, have created my FIRST piece of jewelry (a necklace) for the FIRST time in just about THREE years, Just. For. Me. You heard it here first, Jenipher the work-aholic, took time out to create FOR FUN! (Those who know me, i know your gasping..this is a HUGE success!)

Pretty Color Scheme.

I was inspired by the ultimately inspiring Margot Potter, who wrote a truly fascinating book "Beyond the Beads". This is a color combination from her book, and i came home and made something with the colors in the image. Alas..i show you a piece i called creatively called "Margot". :)

I'm so excited by it! AND the images came out wonderful!

PS: If you are an artist and don't already know about Margot Potter, PLEASE do yourself a favor and click on any of the links above. She will inspire you dearly! :)

Funday Fundate!

Riley created a really fun date for us on Thursday!!

He gave me an invitation (from one of my stuffed animals) that said there was a pizza and art festival day in "haraje" (haha get it? Garage?) (Yeah, it took me a while too) on March 6th and asked if he could attend too.

The next morning we walked to Publix to pick up the ingredients for the pizza then he told me to go upstairs until he came to get me.

He made the garage into a Art show and our stuffed animals were running it.

Funday Fundate!

Funday Fundate!

Then there was this mystery involved a stolen pizza. The "Black Duchess" (who hates art and colors) stole our pizza lunch!!!

Funday Fundate!

"The mayor" gave us a map and we had a scavenger type hunt to find it. Ha! it was so cute!

Funday Fundate!

We ended up finding the duchess' dunging (my mailbox) where the last note told us the pizza was hidden somewhere....

Neon Pink

And confused the heck outta me!! HAHAHA!! They spell oven!!!

It was a really cute date, and i appreciated it greatly!!!

Thanks Riley!! <3<3<3

Okay, i'm going to bobard you with this flyer for a whole month + some. I really really could use the help getting the word out. So, if you, or anyone you know are looking for gifts for you, them, their friends, family, whoever, please let them know about the sale!

It would be GREATLY appreacited! :)

Tea Party Blessings

It has been a very stressful week to be honest.

On Wednesday my friend Cynthia invited me over for a tea party. And what a tea party it was! It was such a blessing. So inspiring too! It helped me get into taking pictures again, which is something I've really missed! Alas, here are a few images to inspire you.

She went out and decorated her table so nicely, made her "famous" pasta salad and bought some really yummy rainbow colored cookies. It was a lovely tea party. We had these beautiful triangle shaped teas, which I'm trying to look up online and can't figure out the brand.
Thank you Cynthia! I'm quite excited for our Monday meeting. :)

I hope your all having a wonderful blessing filled week! In case you need your tea fill, here are some lovely items to strike your fancy.
